Zulay has been a famous American Colombian performer most well-known for her role as Esperanza, in "If you were loving You Wasn't Right" which is a show on the Oprah Winfrey Network. Also, she has an extensive list of credits which includes starring in a range of movies like Illegal tender'. Takers'., Boy Wonder and, And, True Memoirs of an International Assassin. Born in Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia, she, alongside her family, moved to the USA when she was four. Following high school, Henao worked in the U.S. Army for three years and was a student at Methodist College while stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The actress later pursued acting studies at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and worked a variety different jobs prior to kicking off her professional career as an actress. On a personal note, the beautiful and talented actress is currently dating American Model Joel Rush. She used to be engaged with actor Terrace Howard. Henao is extremely close with her family members and believes that to be her first priority.
