Emily Mortimer

Emily Mortimer is a British screenwriter and actress who is well-known as a significant contributor to Hollywood film. Mortimer is a former theatre pupil with an impressive legacy. Additionally, she is an affable personality. Mortimer was the protagonist of "Mary Poppins Returns," an update to the 1964 cult musical "Mary Poppins." This role marked one of the most significant moments in her career. Mortimer played a mysterious French assistant in the films starring Pink Panther and also was a determined and solid news producer on 'The Newsroom'. Emily Kathleen Anne Mortimer, born in Hammersmith in the year 1971, on the 1st December to famous barrister and writer Sir John Mortimer, and Penelope Gollop is the child of Penelope Gollop and a well-known writer. Emily has a number of siblings. There is a half-brother in her, Jeremy and one half-sister Sally and Sally, who both come from her father's previous marriage to author Penelope Fletcher. Her younger sister is known as Rosie. Half-brother Ross Bentley is also a result from her father's marriage to the actress Wendy Craig. Mortimer has attended St Paul's Girls' School in London. She was a student of English and Russian in Lincoln College at Oxford University, graduating with a degree at the end of 1994.
